Vice-President of Product Development  ·  2002–2004

Developed the concept, designed, managed development, and oversaw testing of a hotel guest room electronics system together with the management and administrative systems. The system provides video-on-demand, high speed Internet access, and electronic resource guide. Selected and implemented technology platforms. Oversaw business functions such as budgets, IP licenses, hiring and managing personnel. Awarded US Provisional Patent 60/575,459 dated 5/28/2004 (US patent pending).

VideoSport.com, Inc.

Director of Video Operations  ·  2001–2002

Planned and managed technical operations for a sports broadcasting company. Produced broadcasts of professional, international sporting events for live pay-per-view Internet broadcasting (streaming) and various pay-per-view television platforms. Produced in Windows Media format live broadcasts, and video-on-demand highlight reels for Internet delivery. Planned, maintained, and administered technical facilities. Pioneered development of a unique, branded application for delivery of syndicated, pay-per-view streaming media through multiple distribution partners (large sports destination web sites). System included e-commerce (including micro-payments), user and geographic authentication.

Managed production and post-production of various broadcast and home video programming for a company best known for the development of PBS programs Barney & Friends®, Wishbone®, and the five hour documentary, Vatican II. Managed all aspects of the audio portion of Barney & Friends® (PBS) from program concept and systems planning, through production, post-production, domestic release and preparation of tracks for international distribution. Directed and scheduled all work completed at the company's two facilities. Scheduled contract editors and/or mixers as needed to fill requirements. Designed and prepared audio products for Internet-based delivery formats MP3 and RealAudio®. Provided sound effects design for web pages and Shockwave® games, using various hardware and software including Csound.

Independent Audio Engineer  ·  1984–Present

Provided audio mixing and supervision for client companies including: CBS Sports (national locations), Touchstone Pictures (Los Angeles), Van Cliburn Competition (Fort Worth), HCJB (Quito), and Grayson-Hollingsworth (Dallas). Mixed television broadcasts with top artists and/or orchestras. Recorded and mixed several albums, including some with full orchestra. Designed the live mixing system, pre-production tape playback portions, rented and installed the equipment and supervised the audio for the live broadcast of the Miss Louisiana Pageant and Miss Mississippi Pageant.
