I have not updated this manual since March, 2001 (Csound Version 4.10). In spite of that, it still is considered the "official" Csound manual by some. My intention is to begin regular maintenance of it again at some point, but I do not know when that will be. In the meantime, Kevin Condor is issuing regular updates. His initial text appears to be based on mine. You can find his manuals at http://kevindumpscore.com/docs/.

I hope this does not cause you any inconvience, but with family and work, my spare time to compose with Csound, as well as work on the manual, has all but vanished.

Version 4.10 – March 24, 2001

Version 4.10 of the manual corresponds to version 4.10 of the Csound code released by John ffitch.

The Acrobat Edition runs 489 pages. This release requires reprinting the entire manual, so there are no update files.

The HTML Edition contains 335 files.

What is Different in Version 4.10 of the Manual?

• Documentation for the many new opcodes and utilites contained in version 4.08, 4.09, & 4.10 of the Csound code.
• Many typographical, informational, and syntactical errors have been corrected.
• The Acrobat Edition has been reset in new fonts and with new page layouts for easier referral.
• Bookmarks have returned to the Acrobat Edition, albeit in a scaled-down form.
